This high-class brasserie style restaurant, named after owner Tim Hart, is an exciting and reliable place to dine. The menu includes temptation in the form of dishes such as pan-fried sea bass with saffron potatoes or tender beef sirloin. Desserts here are an absolute must, especially the homemade ice creams and the banana tarte tatin.

Aquarium is definitely worth considering for anyone who loves fish and seafood. The menu of this modern light and airy restaurant is a Mediterranean based one, but the emphasis is definitely on fish and seafood. Delights include mussels in white wine and garlic, char-grilled squid, paella and lemon sole with a delicious Dijon mustard sauce. Expect to pay around £12 per main course option, with plenty of reasonably priced wines to compliment the food. 

World Service

World Service is housed in an impressive 17^th century building, yet looks can be deceptive as this is a very up to date dining experience. Here you can feast on dishes such as crispy monkfish in honeyed breadcrumbs, curried fruit and coconut sauce, or grilled fillet of beef with spinach, maple roast butternut squash and thyme potatoes. Expect to pay around £14-£18 per main course option.

Sonny’s

Sonny’s is one of Nottingham ’s finest contemporary modern European restaurants, where you can expect a warm welcome. The setting is every bit as good as the food, making this a good all round option be it for business or pleasure. On the menu are dishes such as char-grilled salmon with spinach and chive beurre blanc, or roast chicken with tarragon gnocchi, whilst the must try dessert is the dark chocolate crème brulee.
